Other Venice Film Festival Opening Night Scheduled For September 23rd to 25th
Other Venice Film Festival (OVFF) proudly returns for its 19th season this September 23rd to 25th, 2022 at Beyond Barque, 681 Venice Blvd Venice Ca, 90291
The OVFF is a nonprofit community event dedicated to screening full-length features, short films and music videos that embody the spirit, energy and diversity of Venice, California and beyond. Filmmakers gather in Venice for three days of film screenings, premieres, sell out crowds, spirited Q&A sessions, panel discussions, local art on display and parties with live music.
OVFF 19th season doors open Friday, September 23rd at 6 pm, starting with a red carpet, then a cocktail party at 7 pm with a live performance by T.B.A
The screenings will commence at 8 pm, with the short film The after party will be 9:45 pm - 11:30 pm, featuring a live mashup performance by
Additional musical guests that weekend will be:
Saturday, September 24th : Marvin Glover (who has produced more than 20 films and will show two of his most recent works in the festival), set time: 9:45pm
Sunday, 25th (featured in the documentary "Rez Metal" screening earlier that day. The film follows their journey recording their debut album with Metallica Producer Flemming Rasmussen in Denmark), set right after the awards ceremony, 8:30 pm
