Reuben De La Casas – Festival Founder
Reuben “Ruby” De La Casas impresario of the Other Venice Film Festival also know as Ruby Tuesday- a multifaceted Variety show that has captivated the attention of L.A. Ruby Tuesday has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, Canadian City TV , The Argonaut, City Beat . Ruby has been at the vanguard of hair design in Los Angeles (masterhairdesigner.com) for over 20 years. As an entrepreneur Ruby has owned his own successful salon, unique Hot dog Cart (Ruby’s Red Hots) produced several music videos and has been involved in hair shows through California & UK.

Arnie Clomera
Arnie Clomera – Technical Director
A technologist who has developed both hardware and software, Arnie Clomera produces pioneer internet video and streaming cell phone content. Arnie studied Computer Science at the University of Southern California and was responsible for directing computer consultants to respond to constituency needs for the university. Arnie founded several technology companies whose clients included Bank of America, Los Angeles Unified School District, University of Southern California Interactive TV, and many mid-sized companies. Arnie’s nom de guerre, Arnie Clover, is used for the music/film industry and has produced over a dozen music videos and has over 5000 hours of streaming video content in the can (interned with KCRW DJ – Nic Harcourt).

Angel Aviles-McClinton
Angel Aviles-McClinton – Programming Director
Angel Aviles-McClinton LOVES film. She has worked with some of the best producers and directors in American film and television including but not limited to Robert Rodriguez, Quentin Tarantino, Michael Patrick King, Steven Bochco and Allison Anders. In addition to programming The Other Venice Film Festival, she owns a multimedia production company (http://dsolmedia.com/) and blogs about Latino art and culture (http://www.bfcafe.com/).

C. Rafael Parish
C. Rafael Parish – Shorts Program Director
Originally from New York and Vermont , Craig is a longtime writer/producer at Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment having recently directed DVD featurettes for the Sony Pictures Classic films: TYSON, WALTZ WITH BASHIR and SUGAR. Currently the Shorts Program Director for OVFF, he is also on the narrative features Screening Team for The AFI Intl Film Festival and is a Features Programmer for The Slamdance Film Festival. Craig’s short doc “MeaNiX” screened at OUTFEST, REELING and The NY Film Film Festival. In 2007, his 35 min un-authorized documentary, “Morning Theft: Sketches of Scottie” a look back 10-years after the death of musician Jeff Buckley, screened at NewFilmmakers LA and the SoCal Independent Film Festival. Craig is also a contributing theater critic for LA.com and SoCal.com.

Rico McClinton is a Los Angeles native who has run his own business out of Venice for over 15 years. For years Rico has been involved in acting, booking countless commercials, landing roles in television shows such as Alias and CSI: Miami and working on several independent projects. His love for independent film lead him to produce Blood Equity, a documentary film about NFLPA players www.BloodEquity.com. Rico is honored to serve as Sponsorship Coordinator for The Other Venice Film Festival.
